Project Description

The Rotary Club of Bhairahawa, an organization known for its distinctive identity in social service, celebrated its 10th Charter Day by reaching out to the impoverished “Musahar community of Kanpara” in Tilottama Municipality.
Marking the occasion on Saturday, the club organized a special humanitarian program aimed at supporting underprivileged families. According to Club President Rtn. Kamal Koirala, the event was designed to commemorate the Charter Day through meaningful social contribution.
To help the families combat the winter cold, the club distributed 21 Warm Blankets and Winter clothes to the needy families. The Program Coordinator Rtn. Pawan Paudel said that the initiative was part of the organization’s broader commitment to community welfare.
The event's chief guest, Assistant Governor Rtn. Jitendra Nath Sharma, expressed happiness over celebrating the Rotary principle of “Service Above Self” through direct humanitarian action. He praised the club for embodying the true spirit of Rotary by supporting marginalized communities.
Charter President Rtn. Raj kumar Gupta highlighted the club’s establishment goals and reaffirmed their commitment to continuing such service-oriented activities in the future. Likewise, Club GSR Rtn. Azaj Alam commended the club for consistently undertaking exemplary social work and for choosing to celebrate Charter Day by helping disadvantaged families rather than organizing lavish events.
The program saw the participation of Past Presidents, Club Members & Local Residents. The celebration concluded with a charter day's Cake-Cutting ceremony together with the Musahar families.
The event began with a welcome remark by Program coordinator Rtn. Pawan Paudel, while Secretary Rtn. Suman Paudel conducted the Program.
