Blood Donation Program at Lumbini Max Hospital, Bhairahawa.

Realizing the urgent need for blood in the Bhairahawa area,
Rotary Club of Bhairahawa, in joint collaboration with
Lumbini Max Hospital Pvt. Ltd., successfully organized a
grand Blood Donation Program at the premises of Lumbini
Max Hospital, Basantpur, Omsatiya - 4. The program was
conducted with the main slogan “Raktadan Jivandan”
(Donate Blood, Save Life).
The program was jointly chaired by Rotary Club of
Bhairahawa President Rtn. Kamal Koirala and the MD of
Lumbini Max Hospital DR. Ram Prasad Bashyal. The event
was graced by the Chief Guest, Mr. Ram Chandra Upadhyay,
President of Nepal Red Cross Society, Rupandehi.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest Mr. Upadhya
appreciated Rotary Club’s continuous involvement in social
service and highlighted that blood donation is a noble act
that can save precious lives. He encouraged the continuation
of such humanitarian programs and urged everyone to
spread awareness and motivate people for regular blood
donation. Total of 31 pints of blood were successfully collected
during the program.
